What are the admission requirements?

To be considered for the online Graduate Certificate in Resilience Engineering, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • At least a baccalaureate degree (in any academic discipline) from an accredited U.S. college or university or a degree from a non-U.S. institution of higher education that is judged equivalent to a U.S. baccalaureate degree by the International Admissions office. Applicants who are a senior in good academic standing can request an exception to this requirement. 
  • An undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 (based on a 4-point scale) computed for all undergraduate credits from the applicant’s most recent baccalaureate degree.* 
  • Admission to the Boise State Graduate College
  • In accordance with Boise State Graduate College policy, a student MUST apply and be admitted to a graduate certificate prior to completing the requirements.

*Students with a GPA lower than 3.0 may require special provisions for admission to the graduate cyber operations and resilience program.

How much does it cost?

Boise State Online offers reasonably priced tuition, ongoing support, financial aid options and degree paths that help ensure you reach your goals quickly and efficiently. Students in the graduate cyber operations and resilience program will need a computer that meets the following processing requirements: processor (AMD Ryzen 5 or Intel Core i5) with at least 16GB memory RAM and 500GB storage space.

*The per-credit fees listed above are for the 2024-25 academic year. Future academic year per-credit fees may vary slightly and are finalized each May.

**Costs for room, board and transportation are used to calculate financial aid and are included to disclose the full cost of attendance. These costs are not required for students pursuing a fully online degree.
