Transfer Credits
Our Student Success Team works with you to help you determine how your credits will transfer into Boise State and what you may still need to finish your bachelor’s or master’s degree. If you’ve completed coursework before at an accredited college or university, it will take significantly less time than if you are starting school for the first time (though if you are starting from the beginning, we have great options to help accelerate your path to graduation).
With the support of our coaches and advisors, you’ll receive a degree plan designed for you to reach your goals quickly and efficiently.
Full- or Part-Time
At Boise State, a full-time load means 12 or more credits per semester. Taking a full-time course load will help you reach graduation more quickly but may not be the best fit for all students, especially if you are balancing work, family and other life responsibilities while attending college. Our Student Success Team is here to support you create a customized plan to reach your goals.
Whether you decide to attend full- or part-time, all of our programs run year-round so you can take classes each semester and keep you on track to graduation.
Program Choice
Our bachelor’s and master’s degree programs differ in the rigidity of course scheduling–from options where you build your own pathway, those offered on a rotating schedule to a locked-in path from your first class to graduation.
Additionally, many of our programs run on accelerated schedules, with classes offered in five- or seven-week formats so you can complete more classes during each traditional 15-week term.
