The U.S. News and World Report rank Boise State’s programs in the top three or higher for the Pacific Northwest compared to our peer institutions in Idaho, Oregon and Washington.

Boise State’s online programs were among 1,850 programs surveyed by U.S. News. Only accredited institutions whose programs are offered mostly or entirely online were evaluated.
The rankings, which were released by U.S. News and World Report, evaluated institutions based on several key factors, including academic and career support services, student engagement and faculty credentials. Boise State’s online degree programs were found to be among the best in the nation, with a strong emphasis on student support and engagement.
Boise State offers nearly 100 online degree programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including business administration, nursing, education technology and accountancy. The university’s flexible online programs meet the needs of busy adults and working professionals by providing workforce skills and the ability to complete coursework from anywhere.
