Perceptive Content Issues

I can’t sign in to Perceptive Content

Here are the common reasons you may not be able to sign in to Perceptive Content:

  • Your department isn’t storing documents in Perceptive Content. See “How can my department get started with using Perceptive Content?” on this page to get started using Perceptive.
  • You haven’t been granted access to documents owned by another department. See “How do I request security to view documents?” on this page to request access to view documents. If you are in an advising role on campus and can’t view advising-related documents (transcripts, academic adjustments, FERPA forms), contact the Help Desk.
  • Be sure you’re using your Boise State username and password.
  • If you still can not sign in, contact the Help Desk at (208) 426-4357  or helpdesk@boisestate.edu.

How can my department get started with using Perceptive Content?

If your department would like to streamline workflow processes and reduce storage of paper documents by implementing Perceptive Content, submit a project request to the OIT Project Management Office.

How do I request security to view documents?

Departments are responsible for managing/granting access to documents they “own”. In most cases, document access is limited to the department who owns the documents. In some cases, documents are shared across departments.

For example, transcripts, academic adjustments, and FERPA documents are shared with users across campus in an advising role.

If you are in an advising role and you do not have advising access in Perceptive Content, contact the Help Desk.

If you believe you should have access to additional documents in Perceptive Content, please contact the department who owns the document to which you want access.
