Google Gemini is an experimental conversational AI (artificial intelligence) tool. Gemini has advanced natural language capabilities that help you be more creative and boost productivity.
Boise State University students and active faculty and staff may use their university credentials to sign in to Gemini.
Access Google Gemini
- Visit gemini.google.com.
- At the top right, select Sign in.
- Sign in using your Boise State username and password.

Gemini for Google Workspace
Gemini for Google Workspace is a University-approved AI assistant that integrates directly with Docs, Sheets, Slides, and more. It allows for new ways to chat with Gemini to save time and be more productive.
Licenses for Gemini for Google Workspace cost $180 per year and are paid for by your department. (You may still use stand-alone Gemini at no cost.)
To request a Gemini for Google Workspace license, please submit a request through Help Desk Self Service.
