Boise State recently updated our meeting room names in Google Calendar (also called resources) to make adding a room or location to a calendar invite easier. Invitees now see all the details needed to locate a room on campus, including building, floor number, room name, and approximate room capacity. This change makes it easier to reserve or find a room.
For example, this shows the building, 4th floor, room 439, name, and room capacity of 20.
This update to Boise State’s Google Calendar Resources naming convention is to meet Google’s new standard formatting to include building names first.
Users can browse resources in their Google Calendar settings or create a new Google Calendar invite to see this feature.
