While completing her graduate studies, Taylor’s research focused on the implementation of nursing interventions to promote adequate sleep in neurological and neurosurgical intensive care patients, and the role that these interventions play in mitigating complications and promoting favorable outcomes in these patient populations.
With a true passion for the nursing profession and quality nursing education, Taylor enjoys sharing her enthusiasm and knowledge with nursing students. She began working as an adjunct clinical instructor for the School of Nursing at Boise State in 2023 and joined as a full-time faculty member in 2024. Taylor also continues part-time work at the bedside as a critical care nurse.
In her personal time, Taylor enjoys baking, traveling, and spending time in the mountains with her husband and two dogs.
