Educational Systems Coordinator

Decker B Hinckley joined the School of Nursing in the Spring of 2025. In his previous career, he focused on streamlining existing processes, leading cross-functional teams, and innovating how to support customers to increase customer satisfaction and engagement. One of his proudest achievements include securing an interview with PC Magazine which received the PC Editors’ Choice Award in 2017. Decker has also been passionate about being an active leader and member in multiple Employee Resource Groups to foster a healthy and close-knit community.
He graduated from The College of Idaho in 2015 with a BA in Music and minors in Vocal Performance, Psychology, and Physical Education. Decker earned numerous vocal scholarships, competed in multiple singing competitions, and even performed with Eric Whitacre for DCINY in Carnegie Hall in 2013.
Decker works on music in his free time and performs or music directs for local theaters such as Boise Little Theater and Stage Coach Theatre. He loves going on adventures with his wife, Jewels, while being surrounded by their quirky and loving dogs.
