In an effort to support the university’s sustainability goals, the School of Nursing commits to operating in an environmentally-friendly and economically sound way. Do your part and help our community thrive!
Boise State’s Resource Nexus for Sustainability defines it as balancing environmental responsibility, economic prosperity and social well-being to enable a just, resilient society now and in the future.
- Reduce energy usage: Turn off the lights any time you leave a room, and consider minimizing elevator trips.
- Reduce, reuse, recycle: We currently reduce and reuse equipment and materials in our lab. We also have recycling bins in hallways and offices for easy access.
- Bring your own water bottle: Use less plastic by filling your own bottle. Filtered water filling stations are available in the hallways near the restrooms.
- Bike to work: Reduce your greenhouse emissions by biking when able.
- Carpool: If you drive in, consider carpooling with another campus community member.
