Paula Molina-Shaver, MS, RN-BC is an Clinical Assistant Professor at Boise State University School of Nursing. Molina-Shaver began her teaching career in 2004, completing her MS as a Nurse Educator in 2010 and joining Boise State University in 2013. Molina-Shaver works with undergraduate nursing students in their acute care and mental health clinicals and senior preceptorships. Her research interests center on strengthening the undergraduate clinical experience, development of clinical student evaluation methods, and the use of Simulation in each of these areas. Board certified through American Nurses Credentialing Center in General Nursing, Molina-Shaver’s clinical specialties include pediatric and adult primary care, home health, and postpartum mother/baby care. She maintains clinical practice at Friendship Clinic and chairs the Health Services Advisory Committee for Boise Friends of Children and Families (Head Start).
