The Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC) hosted a research day in September. Cathy Deckys, clinical assistant professor, Cecile Evans, clinical lecturer, and Marty Downey, associate professor, all of the Boise State School of Nursing were in attendance and among the presenters. Boise State School of Nursing students and Hangzhou Normal University students and faculty also were in attendance.
Downey’s poster was titled “An Evidence Review of the Effectiveness of IV Acetaminophen,” and looks at the evidence for the use of IV acetaminophen as a therapeutic agent in pain management for surgery patients.
