Thank you for your interest in the RN-BS Program at Boise State! Here you’ll find details on how to apply to the program. This includes our application deadlines, instructions on the unofficial transcript review, application instructions, and transfer student information.

Unofficial Transcript Reviews

If any of the following apply to you, please email your unofficial transcripts to rnbs@boisestate.edu for an unofficial transcript review of your general education requirements. Unofficial transcripts are reviewed for no additional charge, and there is no obligation to apply or enroll.

  • If you graduate(d) with an Associate of Applied Science (AAS)
  • If you are a Diploma Nurse
  • If your ADN was awarded from a school that does not have regional accreditation

Application Instructions and Transferring to Boise State

Application Instructions

Thank you for your interest in Boise State! Whether you are a registered nurse or an ADN student looking to start completing courses toward your bachelor’s degree in nursing, we look forward to receiving your RN-BS application.

  1. Have you contacted us for an unofficial transcript review? This service is available to you at no cost, and there is no obligation to apply.  If you would like to check on your requirements before applying e-mail your unofficial transcripts to rnbs@boisestate.edu. Once reviewed our Admissions/Retention Advisor will contact you with your personalized review!
  2. Submit a Boise State University Application. Make sure to select the ONLINE track and select RNBS for your major! This will ensure you are in the right track!  Within a couple days after your Boise State Application you will hear from your RNBS Admissions Advisor letting you know what is next!
  3. Submit your Official Transcripts to Boise State Admissions
  4. Once you are fully admitted to Boise State your RNBS Admissions Advisor will contact you via e-mail with the link to the RNBS Online Application.
