Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner Certificate
A Graduate certificate in acute care adult gerontology is available to licensed nurse practitioners seeking to expand their scope of practice, privileging, and sit for board certification.

Acute Care:
Completing a graduate certificate in AGNP acute care will enable you to expand your scope of practice to the care of adult patients with chronic or critical conditions within acute care settings.

Program Information
ONLINE COURSE DELIVERY: Courses are taught online to maximize flexibility combined with two on-campus summer intensives (5-7 days) and three clinical rotations.
AGNP COST: The tuition rate is $890 per credit hour for all students. (19 credits @ $890 per credit = $16,910).
- $4,400 in preceptor fees
- There are no out-of-state fees.
- Please note: the AGNP program is subject to other additional fees such as books, software, travel, etc. Information about financial aid/student loans for graduate school is available through the Graduate College.
RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT: The AGNP certificates are available to nurses practicing in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.
PRECEPTOR PLACEMENT: We will work closely with you to identify qualified preceptors in your own community.
