In April 2024, we shared the expected benefits that will result from our migration to a new data warehouse built on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. We expect end-users to benefit from the following features:
- Improved performance of reports and dashboards in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Data Visualizer; and
- Reduced frequency of load errors that impact OAC (non real-time) reports containing financial and HCM data.
We are pleased to announce that the project team will soon wrap up back-end testing and then create space for report users to test report performance prior to go-live.
The warehouse migration will impact OAC and Data Visualizer reporting. This will not impact any real-time reporting. Therefore, any reports generated through OTBI or directly within the systems will be unaffected.
We aim to identify testers during the month of September, with testing scheduled from October 14th to October 18th.
