Armistice Day Exhibit Will Close with Live Performance

A current exhibition at Albertsons Library in remembrance of World War I and life on the Western Front will close Nov. 29.

A live performance by the University Singers will mark the occasion at 5 p.m., Nov. 29, on the first floor of the library. The performance will recreate the storied 1914 Christmas Truce, when soldiers on both sides spontaneously called a ceasefire and spent the holiday singing carols together. Music Professor Jim Jirak directs the group which includes students from across the campus.

This free public performance will last approximately 20 minutes. Light refreshments will be served.
