It’s time for the annual Homecoming campus decoration competition – departments are encouraged to sign up and compete to creatively exhibit their Boise State pride. The registration deadline is Friday, Oct. 26.
While there is no official homecoming theme this year, participating groups’ decorations will be judged on three categories:
Creativity
Boise State Spirit
Eco-Friendliness
Unlike previous years, this year there will be two rounds of judging. For the second round, the top five best decorated departments will be notified and joined by celebrity judges, after which a winner will be chosen.
The first round judging will take place:
1:30-3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30 for the west side of campus (west of Theatre Ln. and the Student Union Building).
1:30-3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31 for the east side of campus (east of Theatre Ln. and the Student Union Building).
Second round judging will take place:
1:30-3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1.
The overall winner will be announced via email by noon on Friday, Nov. 2.
The winning office will receive the coveted traveling “Rocking Bronco” trophy, a bowling party in the Game Center for a group of 15, and up to 10 football tickets to cheer on the Boise State Broncos against the Fresno State Bulldogs.
