Lynn Lubamersky took part in the 76th annual meeting of the Polish Institute of Arts and Sciences at the Harriman Institute, Columbia University. There she presented her research on “The Distinctive Voice of Franciszka Urszula Radziwiłłowa, the first Polish woman playwright.”
The Polish Consul General of New York, Maciej Golubiewski, hosted a reception for the conference attendees. Lubamersky is pictured here in front of the consulate with the statue of Jan Karski, the courier of the Polish underground who was the first to deliver an eyewitness account of the Holocaust to allied leaders. Lubamersky serves as a member of the board of the Polish Institute.
