Boise State University’s Department of Public Safety parking permit rates will increase minimally for the 2018-2019 academic year. Rate changes are listed in the tables below and the parking website has been updated with the new parking rates.
The rate increases allow the Department of Public Safety to expand parking options for the campus community, conduct routine maintenance on current parking structures and lots, and continually expand alternative transportation options.

Alternative Transportation Options
The University offers a variety of alternative transportation options, including a shuttle program, a bicycle registration program, and a Student Satellite Zone. These programs aim to make it easier for Boise State students, faculty and staff to access campus sustainably and conveniently.
Parking Zone Changes
The Alumni and Friends Center parking lot and the NORCO parking lot will change to South Reserve lots. In addition, the small lots between Euclid and Grant will change to South Commuter.
Permitted Parking Information
Permitted parking on campus requires that a vehicle: 1) display a valid zone permit, and 2) have a valid license plate registered. If a vehicle has only one or the other, that vehicle would be in violation of parking regulations. All permit holders are required to have up-to-date license plate information registered with the university’s parking system. This information can be viewed and updated in the NuPark portal.
Please ensure all license plates listed on the account are accurate and up to date. If a “placeholder” was used when registering, be sure to update to the actual license plate as soon as possible to avoid receiving a citation.
Parking permit account information may be accessed via NuPark Portal.
