Dear Colleagues,
We hope and believe that, in this difficult time, you continue to find deep meaning in teaching our amazing students, conducting life-changing research and making a difference for so many people. We also recognize that you are closely monitoring proposals and changes at the federal government level that may impact our work, just as we are.
We are continually assessing what these proposed changes might mean for all of us and recognize that many of them have created stress and concern for some faculty, students, and staff because of the impact on our campus and its work. There are far more questions than answers at this point.
Members of our university leadership will host listening sessions with faculty and staff over the next several weeks, so we can learn more about your concerns, benefit from your insights and engage in dialogue. We will be sending out invitations soon.
In the meantime, we encourage you to reach out if you have specific questions or concerns. Here are some resources you may find helpful.
The Office of the Provost is focused on building and maintaining positive learning and working environments, along with academic quality and student success, and stands ready to serve faculty. You can reach the provost at provost@boisestate.edu or by calling (208) 426-1202.
