Blue Galleries hosting three exhibitions through March

The Blue Galleries in the Center for Visual Arts is hosting three art exhibitions featuring work from students, faculty and visual artist Janet Biggs. The galleries are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday from Jan. 21 to March 28. They will be closed for the week of spring break.

Admission is free to the public.

  • Janet Biggs: Imagination and Desire in a Northern Landscape has been organized by the Barry Lopez Foundation for Art & Environment: barrylopezfoundation.org
  • The Biennial Faculty Exhibition showcases the research and creative activities of the Department of Art, Design and Visual Studies faculty.
  • The Annual Student Juried Exhibition is open to all students to enter and is juried by leading artists, gallery owners, curators and arts administrators each year.

The Blue Galleries will also host the Spring BFA Exhibition starting April 11. The exhibition will feature the work of graduating students from the Department of Art, Design and Visual Studies Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Art, Illustration and Art Education programs.
