Charles Hunt, an assistant professor of political science in the School of Public Service, appeared as a guest on the City Cast Boise podcast recently to discuss the latest news stories from the Boise area.
One of the key stories dissected on the podcast was the Stella’s Ice Cream legal scandal and why the business was fined for violating multiple child labor laws. Hunt and podcast host Lindsay Van Allen talked about the details of the violations and what this might mean for the company going forward.
Hunt and Van Allen also talked about the available parking permits and tax credits for zero-emission vehicles in Boise. For $10 a year, citizens can purchase a permit for their vehicle that allows them to park for free in metered spots.
