Annual reminder: Update employee contact information, beneficiaries

In preparing for the upcoming tax season, the Office of Human Resources and Workforce Strategy reminds employees to take a few minutes each year to review and update their contact and beneficiary information.

Contact information updates

Retirement and life insurance beneficiary updates

  • Retirement account beneficiary updates are handled by the retirement account provider, i.e. Fidelity, TIAA, Corebridge and PERSI. View the retirement vendors web page to contact them directly.
  • For Optional Plan Retirement participants, Fidelity accounts that have recently transferred will not be available for beneficiary updates until the week of Dec. 22. Fidelity will send participants information on how to access their individual accounts.
  • If employees need to update their basic and voluntary life insurance beneficiary, submit the appropriate beneficiary form.
