Guerra publishes on challenges and priorities of information technology management

Katia Guerra, an assistant professor in the Department of Information and Supply Chain Management, department, along with her coauthors,  published “The 2023 SIM IT Issues and Trends Study,” in the Management Information Systems Quarterly Executive: Vol 23: Iss. 1, Article 7.

This study provides insights from a survey of IT executives on key challenges and priorities in IT management. Top areas of investment include cybersecurity, data analytics and digital transformation, with AI gaining importance as its potential becomes more apparent. Key concerns for IT leaders are cybersecurity, talent shortages and ensuring IT aligns with business goals.
