Moneyhun presents at literary translators meeting

Clyde Moneyhun, professor in the Department of Theatre, Film and Creative Writing, read his translations of the contemporary Catalan-language poet Míriam Cano at the American Literary Translators Association in October in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

He also led a workshop for translators called “Impossible Passages” and hosted the annual ALTA performance event ¡Declamación! In November, he published translations of eight poems by eight poets (Antoni Clapés, Carles Dachs, Maria Josep Escrivà, Manuel Forcano, Maria Isern, Laia Llobera, Àngels Marzo, and Dolors Miquel) in Contemporary Catalan Poetry 2024, published by the Ramon Llull Institute, Catalonia, Spain.
