Bellinger publishes on factors influencing life satisfaction

Nisha Bellinger, associate professor and faculty director in the School of Public Service, recently published research exploring the factors that influence an individual’s life satisfaction. The article looks at a number of determinants, including micro factors such as personal income, and macro factors like national wealth and democracy. The article argues that all three factors (national wealth, democracy and personal income) play a role in influencing life satisfaction in a global sample of countries.
