The Conversation U.S. invites researchers to “Crafting a Strong Pitch,” a Zoom session for scholars and communications partners at member schools who are interested in learning more about pitching and writing with us. This virtual event will be hosted from 1-2 p.m. EST (11 a.m.-noon MST) on Wednesday, Feb. 22.
Please note that this session is held quarterly. Anyone is welcome to attend, but we especially encourage scholars who have not yet written for The Conversation (or those seeking a refresher) to sign up, as well as any new communications partners who are interested in learning more about best practices for pitching to The Conversation.
The goal is to provide a better understanding of The Conversation’s pitch process, what makes a great pitch and how to concisely convey a research story idea to The Conversation’s editors.
This session is for member universities of The Conversation. Please do not share with anyone outside of Boise State.
Registration is automatically confirmed after filling out the RSVP form. Participants will receive Zoom access information the day of the event.
