Kristen Martin has joined Boise State Human Resources as a faculty recruiter.
In this position, Martin will help streamline the faculty search process, develop a faculty recruiting strategy, bring valuable resources and support to search committees, and work to develop a more diverse and inclusive candidate pool.
“Having a position focused solely on faculty recruitment will provide campus with a much-needed resource,” said Jordy LePiane, assistant director of the welcome team. “Kristen brings a passion for the university coupled with trending recruiting strategies to elevate the current faculty hiring process.”
Martin previously worked in the financial services industry and specialized in providing consultative recruiting support to managers nationwide. She focused on hiring and onboarding high producing financial advisors, a field which requires an adaptive, flexible selection process.
“I’m eager to meet with colleges and departments to discuss current hiring needs and to build long term strategic plans,” she said. “I’m equally excited to work with prospective faculty looking to build their careers at Boise State.”
