Sarah Llewellyn, assistant professor of nursing, published an article in “ScienceDirect,” Planting Seeds of Reflective Practice. The article addresses the shifts in course delivery modalities necessitated by COVID-19 and what they meant for a pre-licensure first semester fundamentals of nursing course. Llewellyn said that the adaptations, like the focus on concepts of growth mindset and creating a supportive environment, can continue to be incorporated into fundamentals of nursing courses beyond the COVID-19 crisis.
