Boise State will host the Annual BUILD Dairy conference Sept. 7-10.
BUILD stands for “Building University-Industry Linkages through Learning and Discovery” and is an industry-led initiative created to connect dairy companies to universities and researchers in the western region. The dual goals of the program are to assist students in launching their careers in dairy, while encouraging research to help advance our industry, according to the initiative’s website. The event will bring together representatives from industry, faculty from regional universities, and students conducting dairy food research to present their work. The student presentations will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 8-9 in the Student Union Building’s Simplot Ballroom.
