All faculty, staff, lecturers, post-docs and doctoral students are invited to join a series of research communications events led by editors from The Conversation. Between September and November 2021, nine topic-based virtual sessions will be offered to the Boise State community, and attendees are welcome to attend multiple sessions of interest.
At each session, an editor from The Conversation will present a brief overview of the venue, followed by Q and A and discussion of the attendees’ scholarship, as well as possible research pitches. Most sessions also will feature a Boise State faculty member who has published at least one article with The Conversation and will speak briefly about their experience writing for the publication. Participants are encouraged to come ready to discuss an element of their research that they might be interested in writing about.
