Gautam Basu Thakur, associate professor of English and director of the critical theory minor, published a book chapter titled “Fanon’s ‘zone of nonbeing’: Blackness and the politics of the Real” in Lacan and Race: Racism, Identity, and Psychoanalytic Theory.
