Boise State’s Department of Public Safety and ExtraMile Arena host a federal law enforcement threat response training in the arena from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10.
This specialized training is designed to prepare emergency responders to protect the local community in the event of a human-caused technological threat.
Signs will be posted notifying those in the area that this is only a training exercise. Various law enforcement, military, and fire emergency response vehicles will be parked in the loading zone next to ExtraMile Arena and may be visible during the training. All of the training will be conducted inside the area and away from any classroom locations.
Any questions or concerns can be directed to the Boise State Department of Public Safety Communications Center at (208) 426-6911.
