Michael Allen, an associate professor in the School of Public Service, gave a presentation during a seminar hosted by the Army Futures Command. Allen presented on the changing nature of overseas basing and military deployments titled, “Overseas basing and deployment competition.”
The Character of Warfare 2035 Seminar, conducted by the Future Study Program and the Mad Scientist Initiative, brought experts together to examine how emerging trends and technologies could fundamentally change the future operating environment for the military in the next 15 to 30 years.
