The eCampus Center is happy to announce a new opportunity for online faculty to gather together to learn and share ideas about effective teaching. The center will offer a community of practice titled, “Strategies for Supporting Student to Student Interaction in Online Courses,” Feb. 17-March 13.
Designed as four, 75-minute synchronous online sessions, this community of practice will focus on how to use free tools to help students interact with one another, while also developing their critical inquiry and communication skills. The first three sessions will include time to learn about and practice using various technologies to support student learning; the fourth session will give participants time to share how they might integrate those tools into their classes.
Space is limited to 12 participants. To apply, please fill out the interest form found here.
