Tasha Souza, a professor and associate director for the Center for Teaching and Learning, facilitated a three-hour workshop on “Confronting Microaggressions with Microresistance in the Classroom” for more than 30 faculty and graduate students at the University of Florida in Gainesville earlier this month.
The following week, she facilitated a workshop titled “Microaggressions in the Workplace: What are They and What Can I do About Them” for more than 100 community participants at the Women and Leadership conference held on campus.
Most recently, she facilitated two workshops on microaggressions in the workplace for nearly 200 participants at the Blue Sky Institute Diversity and Inclusion Summit.
