The annual homecoming campus decoration competition is a fun way for campus departments to get into the spirit of Homecoming. Employees are encouraged to show their Boise State pride by getting creative and decorating their campus department’s office.
There is no official Homecoming theme, but participants will be judged on creativity, Boise State spirit and eco-friendliness. Prices include up to 10 tickets to the Boise State vs. New Mexico game on Nov. 16 and a bowling party in the Student Union Building’s Game Center for up to 10 people.
Here are the details and deadlines:
- Registration is due by Friday, Oct. 4.
- First-round judging will be Oct. 9. The committee will choose up to five finalists.
- Second-round judging and winner announcement will be Oct. 11.
- Judging guidelines: For the first rounds of judging, each office will have up to five minutes to share their decorations. For the second round, the top five best-decorated offices will be selected and participants will have 10 minutes to share their decorations with the judges.
