Pei-Lin Yu, an associate professor of anthropology, participated in two events at the 15th Biennial Conference of Science and Management on the Colorado Plateau and Southwest Region in Flagstaff, Arizona.
On Sept. 9, Yu represented Boise State University at the annual meeting of the Rocky Mountains Cooperative Ecosystem Unit, a national science network. Yu reported that Boise State is approaching $500,000 in federally-funded research since joining in 2016, and that Boise State graduate students accomplished a clean sweep of both science fellowships offered by the National Park Service (Blake Harms, MS, communication studies, and Hunter Cole, MS, biology).
At the conference, Yu and co-author anthropology master’s student Jennifer Cuthbertson presented an invited paper titled “Patterns and Themes in Climate Change Vulnerability Assessments Conducted on NPS Cultural Resources.”
