The Office of Information Technology’s Learning Technology Solutions team is presenting the third annual Digital Ecosystems Conference from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, in the Student Union Building.
This free one-day instructional technology conference includes lunch for those who register. This year’s theme, “Tools of the Trade,” emphasizes hands-on experience, practical application and new approaches to using digital technology in education. Attendees will create usable resources and artifacts, and contribute to a professional learning community.
The conference has four tracks:
- Blackboard: Building courses and effectively using tools
- Instructional Media: Engaging students with rich content
- Open Educational Resources: Reducing costs and diversifying content
- Employee Learning: Designing training and activities
