Arbiter, Boise State Public Radio Win Top Prizes at Idaho Press Club Award Banquet

The Arbiter, Boise State’s independent student news outlet, won 22 awards — including first place for General Excellence — at the Idaho Press Club’s Best of 2018 Awards Banquet on Saturday, April 27. In addition, the Boise State Public Radio news and programming departments brought home 26 awards, including 11 first-place prizes.

The Arbiter received the top prizes for print and online student work, as well as a host of individual awards for news, sports, and feature writing and reporting; column and editorial writing; and graphics, design and photography.
