Eric Lindquist, associate professor in the School of Public Service, recently participated in the European Geosciences Union General Assembly in Vienna, Austria. The annual international meeting attracted over 16,000 attendees from 113 countries. Lindquist served as co-convenor for the Hydrological Sciences session: “Water resources policy, management and society: Transdisciplinary approaches to urban-rural water system.”
He also contributed a poster to the Planetary Sciences session on “Near Earth objects and planetary defense: A policy perspective on NEOs and planetary defense: institutions, agendas, problems and solutions for large-scale policy making.”
