HP Marshall, an associate professor in the Department of Geosciences, partnered with Brundage Mountain Resort for the winter 2025 season to install a new high-tech weather station on the mountain summit. The new weather station provided more accurate snow reports for both recreational resort visitors and scientists.
Marshall’s research explores remote sensing tools and techniques to measure snow and ice levels.
