Boise State University employees who meet eligibility requirements will receive merit-based pay increases for Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26), following approval by the Idaho Legislature. The State of Idaho refers to some employee pay raises and other wage considerations as Change in Employee Compensation (CEC).
Eligibility
All Boise State classified staff, professional staff and faculty who were hired by the state in a benefit-eligible position on or before March 29, 2025, will receive a merit-based increase if they meet the following additional criteria:
- Have a current performance evaluation of “Achieves Performance Standards” or higher that was completed within the past 12 months and was not used for the prior CEC (FY25).
- Have successfully completed the annual 2025 Cybersecurity and Respectful Workplace training(s).
- Upon completion of entrance probation (1,040 hours) for classified employees (with successful probation evaluation).
- Upon completion of six months employment for faculty and professional employees (with successful mid-cycle/special evaluation).
