In order to safely complete construction work on the north portion of the new residence hall, W. Cesar Chavez Ln. between Albertsons Library and Taylor Hall will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning April 9. Pedestrian and bicycle traffic can still pass through the area via the Greenbelt, but the westbound bicycle lane on Cesar Chavez will be closed.
Portions of the road will be modified to allow for two-way traffic: between the West Stadium Parking Lot and Taylor Hall, and between Brady Street and Riverfront Hall for access to the Science Building, Education Building, SMASH and Riverfront Hall.
