The Boise State University Professional Sales Team recently traveled to Oklahoma City to compete in the Challenger Sales Institute, where they had the opportunity to go head-to-head with top university sales programs from across the Midwest.
The competition challenged student sellers to analyze a complex case, identify core buyer need, and develop strategic solution, all while showcasing their sales expertise. The Boise State team excelled, placing third in the negotiation case, and several students advanced to the semifinals in the individual role-play competition.
“It was truly an honor for the team to compete against schools they don’t typically encounter, and we couldn’t be prouder of how they represented Boise State,” said Frank Veltri, sales team advisor and director of the Dykman Family Professional Sales Program. “Beyond the competition, the students gained valuable connections and real-world experience that will benefit them in their future careers.”
Veltri congratulated the entire team for their outstanding performance: Haley Gallinger, AJ Garcia, Jadon Gramata, Cadence Gullett and Nathan Swift.
Participating teams included Nebraska, Southern Utah, University of Tampa, U.S. Coast Guard, Stetson, Central Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, University of Kansas, U.S. Air Force, Northern Arizona, Texas A&M and the University of Texas at Arlington.
