Celebrate outstanding faculty research mentors

The Office of Undergraduate Research is seeking nominations for their annual Mentor of the Year Award. Boise State undergraduate students participating in research or creative activity may nominate a faculty mentor who has made a positive impact on their experience at Boise State. Students may nominate more than one faculty member.

The award is a chance to:

  • Honor faculty who go above and beyond in supporting student researchers
  • Highlight mentors who foster academic, professional, and/or personal growth
  • Recognize those who create healthy and meaningful research environments

Key Details:

  • Eligibility: Any faculty mentor working with undergraduate researchers
  • Awards: Up to six outstanding mentors will be recognized (one per college, with two possible from the College of Arts and Sciences)
  • Deadline: Wednesday, March 12, 2025

Faculty and staff are encouraged to share this opportunity with students to help celebrate excellence in research mentorship.
