Delayed start Feb. 14, 2025

Due to the potential for overnight snow accumulation followed by freezing morning rain, there will be no face-to-face classes tomorrow, Feb. 14, until 11 a.m. Residential student services and essential operations will continue as normal.

Faculty may choose to transition to remote instruction, even for classes beginning before 11 a.m. Students should check their Canvas course site and email for messages from faculty. Remote classes will be held as usual. Asynchronous online courses will continue without interruption.

Most student-facing services will be open during normal hours, but may have reduced staffing levels. Supervisors should communicate expectations to staff regarding the delayed start.

Crews are and will continue working to clear sidewalks and parking lots, but please use caution when traveling. Please be aware of the following:

  • Boise State shuttles will begin running at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14, but may be running slower than normal due to road conditions. The GPS tracking system may not be accurate on the tracker app due to freezing temperatures.
  • Drive slowly. Leave early to give yourself plenty of time to get where you’re going safely. If you’re running behind, be late rather than risk your safety.
  • If you cannot travel to campus safely, please communicate directly with your faculty or supervisor.
