Nominations open for the 2025 Presidential Innovation Awards

The Presidential Innovation Awards, led by the College of Innovation and Design, recognize excellence in innovation across Boise State, celebrating a culture of innovation that fosters creative and novel approaches to increasing success and well-being on campus and beyond. These awards honor individuals and teams who imagine new ways to solve problems, embrace experimentation, and demonstrate a growth mindset, showcasing the impact of innovative thinking, bold problem-solving, and transformative solutions that drive positive change.

Faculty, staff, administrators and students are eligible for the award. Any innovation developed/implemented in the last three years is eligible. Self-nominations and team nominations are welcome. There may be multiple awards. Each selected innovator will receive $1,000; for team entries, the amount will be divided equally among team members.

Nominations are due March 10, 2025. The Employee Recognition Breakfast on April 22, 2025 will feature short videos about the award recipients. The college will post portraits of the winners on its “Innovators Wall of Fame.”

Nominations can be submitted via a Google Form, or visit the awards’ webpage for more information.
