Peter Jurhs, executive director of network infrastructure and endpoint services in the Office of Information Technology, will present “Moving Your Phone System to the Cloud” at the WestNet January 2025 Workshop on Jan. 30 and at the Idaho Educational Technology Association Conference on Feb. 6.
The presentation will discuss key decision points for Boise State modernizing its phone system to the cloud and how Zoom Phone was chosen as the university’s platform. Jurhs will discuss some of the pitfalls in the migration process and lessons learned.
