Burbank to retire after 38 years at Boise State, celebration Dec. 11

After an incredible 38 years of dedicated service to Boise State University, Barry Burbank, a senior financial analyst, will retire Dec. 20.

Of Burbank, leadership in the Office of Budget and Planning said “his contributions have been invaluable in supporting the budgetary processes for nearly four decades. He has been a steadfast source of knowledge, a trusted colleague, and a friend to many. We extend our deepest gratitude for his commitment and service. We wish him a joyous and well-deserved retirement.”

A farewell gathering for Burbank will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11 in the Student Union’s Bishop Barnwell Room. RSVP to Irene Pedraza (irenepedraza@boisestate.edu) by 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5.

There will be a slideshow presentation during the gathering and anyone with photos to share of Burbank through his career can send them to Pedraza by Dec. 5.
