Students and faculty representing the School of Public Service’s Capital Connection program were honored as the Sept. 28 game’s “Blue Turf Thinkers,” a series highlighting innovative, trailblazing academic programs during every home football game.

The School of Public Service continues to increase hands-on learning opportunities for students eager to explore policy and government. The first Capital Connection cohort spent a semester living, studying and interning in Washington, D.C.  These students are pioneering exciting academic opportunities and making an impact for Idaho by bringing back new skills and knowledge.

School of Public Service leaders Angie Bos, Andy Giacomazzi, Charlie Hunt, Jennifer Neil, Reegan Jacobson, Lainey Rehkemper and Mike Stefancic were recognized on The Blue. They were joined by Capital Connection students Cayden Stone, Zane Rivers, Max Harris, Emily Grabow, Kennedy Cummins, Mia Castillo-Rivera, Angel Casiano, Madison Schmidt, Saige Caldwell and Keeley Cross.

You can learn more about the program on the Capital Connection website.
